Why we built CaelusLaw

Legal practice management software is broken for small firms. The tools that exist — Clio, PracticePanther, MyCase — were designed for large firms with IT departments and full-time administrators. Solo attorneys and small practices end up paying for features they'll never touch while wrestling with onboarding that takes weeks.

We're building CaelusLaw because we talked to dozens of attorneys running 1–10 person firms and heard the same frustrations: IOLTA compliance handled via separate add-ons that cost extra, time tracking buried under menus, and multi-year contracts that punish firms for growing — or shrinking.

CaelusLaw is designed to be up and running in a single afternoon. IOLTA trust accounting is included, not an add-on. Pricing is per-user, month-to-month. No setup fees, no multi-year lock-in.
